About me and my training

Welcome to my website, I am Sara Raval and have been practicing as a holistic therapist since 2001.

At that time I completed a diploma in Nutritional Medicine which I then practiced at an acupuncture clinic in Stourbridge, where I offered dietary advice together with vitamin and mineral supplementation.

Shortly after this I suffered a deep and debilitating depression, partly as a result of events in my past. I was introduced to a healer and received healing and counsel for a number of years. Her healing and knowledge had a profound effect upon me and during this time she taught me energy healing and the power of meditation. I felt that it was my path to do similar work.

In 2009 I undertook courses in Reiki level 1 and 2 and was also completing a 3 year herbal course with a practicing herbalist in Wolverhampton. I qualified with a comprehensive knowledge of administering herbs for healing. During this time I also studied and qualified in Reflexology and Aromatherapy Massage.

I continued working at the herbal practice for a number of years, offering combined treatments of reflexology, aromatherapy massage and Reiki. The herbalist retired and I continued my practice from home up until the present day.

Prior to 2001 I worked in exercise for the local authority delivering individual exercise routines offered as part of a GP referral to exercise initiative operating in the borough.

I incorporate all aspects of the above modalities in my treatments as appropriate.
